I got a missed call on my cell. 800-219-7425 on Jan 29, 2009 @ 5:13pm EST. Instead of calling back, I googled the number and found this warranty scam site. My number is on the DNC list and the only place that has it is my kids' school. If your number is registered with www.donotcall.gov and you get another call, I suggest answering it(at first, be very sweet and seem interested so you get the callers name and name of company) and then tell them you are registered on DNC and you do not want them to call back and that if they do-you will report them. If they call back they can get a hefty fine. However, this will only work if you have never done business with this company before.

This warranty company calls me regularly, although I have asked to be taken off the list several times. I can never quite make out the name of the company, and when I ask the representative they hang up on me. I do not even own a car!

I have repeatedly received calls from 800-219-7425. They are calling my cell phone and asking me to renew my warranty on my car. I don't own any vehicles that qualify for this telemarketing scheme. The 1st few times they called I hung up right away, but finally I was so annoyed that I stayed online to speak with a representative and asked to have my number removed. He said that he would do so. Now a week later I'm getting calls again so I spoke to a rep again and asked to be removed. This time the rep just hung up on me. When you try to callback and try to talk with someone you find they are hiding behind a none working number. This is extremely annoying, illegal, & should be prosecuted!

215/230.9706 also has a robot that calls cell phone owners and tells them they need to renew warranty on car, when the cell phone owner doesn't even have a car.
