800-219-7425/8002197425 AND 580-822-3386/5808823386 (SOLVED)
One of the companies behind the Extended Car Warranty Telemarketing Scam has been identified. If you have been contacted by 800-219-7425 then you may reasonably assume that you are being contacted by Vehicle Services, Inc. This is a company based out of Saint Peters, Missouri and this is not the first time that they have been identified for conducting illegal telemarketing practices. Click here to read about previous actions taken against this company by Attorney General Jay Nixon.
The other company identified has been calling from 580-822-3386. This company provided a contact number of 1-866-338-7877 EXT. 7003. This is the number to the call center. The website provided by the Warranty Representative was www.1winnerscircle.com. The actual name of the company is relatively unclear at this point, but the name given during the phone conversation was:
Federal Auto Protection Notification Center 745 Friedens Road St. Charles, MO 63303This is the address of Dealer’s Warranty. The contact number given in the directory for this business is (636) 757-7501.
The Warranty Representative , Cory, said that he was working at a call center in St. Louis. Because he naively provided his cell phone number, we had a chance to speak with him later. He said that he had been working this job for approximately two (2) weeks and that he had no idea that anything they were doing was illegal. “We only take in coming calls”….”We don’t call anyone”… He said that the calls are pre-screened by someone else (their hired telemarketing agency) and they are connected through to him after the required information is collected.
Although the Federal Auto Protection Notification Center is not actually placing the calls, it is relatively safe to assume that they are partially or fully responsible. Therefore, anyone who has been contacted by them or their hired telemarketing agency could file a lawsuit against them.
Special thanks to our users for following the Evidence Collection Guidelines and identifying two of the companies responsible for these illegal telemarketing phone calls. This is VERY important because now those victims wishing to begin their own lawsuits can readily identify those responsible for violating their privacy. In addition, if enough visitors come to The Telemarketing Lawsuit Depository and submit evidence against these two companies, we may have grounds to file a class action lawsuit, surely stopping these companies from their illegal practices.
If you have been contacted by 580-822-3386 or 800-219-7425 please submit an Evidence Entry Form. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Update:
It is important for everyone to remember that there are two (2) goals here. The first goal can be achieved by following the script provided here. This should get you the name of the company trying to sell you the warranties.
The other goal is trickier. The attorney general of MO couldn’t even complete this goal. The issue is that most of the warranty companies are not placing the calls. They only take “incoming” calls. Those phone calls are placed by a sub-contracted company. As you know, if you “press one to speak with a representative” and you express interest in anything except buying a warranty, they will hang up on you. In addition, they use spoofed and/or outbound only numbers that are very difficult to trace. Thus the reason that not even attorney general Jay Nixon could track down the people responsible for actually placing the calls.
Now…it is still possible to sue the warranty companies, as Mr. Nixon did last summer. However, it would be even easier, and much more effective, to sue the telemarketing agency used by the warranty companies. In order to do this, however, you have to know who the telemarketing agency is.
We have been in contact with the following:
- FTC
- FCC
- Missouri Attorney General’s Office
- National Telemarketing Victim Call Center (NTVCC)
- Fraud Investigation Department of Several Telcos
- YOU
We have achieved the second goal, determining the firm responsible for placing the calls. Guess which bullet on the aforementioned list helped us achieve the goal? YOU!!! Users of this website provided the valuable information needed to make the connections. Now we have the Missouri’s AG office asking us for information! If you helped out, pat yourselves on the back!!!
I really really really want to tell you the name of the responsible company. However, I don’t want them to erase any information that we could get through subpoena. Therefore, I am going to hold off for a while. Just know that we HAVE this information.
The next step is to continue to pursue goal number one (1). This is important because we need to link as many of the phone numbers to as many warranty companies as possible, thus linking the warranty companies (and the phone numbers) with the known telemarketing agency.

My cellphone was called by 1-800-219-7425, and an automated message was left on my voice mail. Anybody who receives a call from this number, especially on their cell phone, can file a complaint with the FCC by calling 1-888-225-5322, or online at esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. It’s also a good idea to get your cell on the Do Not Call Registry. This can be done by calling 1-888-382-1222 from the phone you are registering, or it can be done online at http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall.
I HAD ENOUGH THEY CALL EVERY WEEK SOMETIMES 3 TIMES A WEEK MY HOME CELL AND NOW MY JOB I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE(800-219-7425).I ALWAYS PRESS 2 TO TAKE ME OFF THE LIST BUT THE OTHER DAY THEY CALLED MY JOB AND I PRESSES ONE TO SPEAK TO A PERSON WHEN THE PERSON CAME ON THE PHONE HE SAID HIS NAME WAS FRAN (HE DIDNT SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH) I ASKED WHAT THE NAME OF HIS COMPANY WAS HE COULDNT GIVE ME THAT I ASKED WE HE WAS LOCATED HE SAID SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WHEN I ASKED HIM TO GIVE ME MY NAME AND WHAT CAR I HAD HE HUNG UP!!MY MOM HAS A PREPAYED PHONE AND THEY USE ALL HER MINS.UP WHEN THEY CALL IM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST SO DONT CALL!!!!!!!!!
me again…
I spoke to FTC person and he told me FTC does no action at all. The data sists in the database and so other agencies can access it
Since you guys found who was calling I think we all should go in class action, in that way we get higher comnpensations + we dont have to pay out of poket for the lawyer.
I will talk to my lawyers at Fried Frank (they one of the largest lawyer company) Will also check with smaller guys if they wanna do the class action…
Message to admin: do you know how many users have provided the evidance?
PS: they also called me today from new number: 251-947-8966
I just filed with esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm for this number, and another one (323-429-7564) wanting to put some stupid sign in my yard and pay me $850. Thanks to the person earlier who suggested this site, as it’s annoying me plus this is a brand new business cell phone and I haven’t given my number out to anyone except my coworkers, so I know this has to be an autodialer in both cases.
FYI, placing your cell phone number on the do not call list is not required, it is illegal for telemarketers to call you on your cell unless you have provided written authorizaton for them to do so for a specific purpose. Anyone like this that is making telemarketing calls to your cell is most likely also ignoring the do not call rules as well.

Call the number back and it rings a couple of times, then goes to a recording that attempts to deceive the caller into thinking the number does not exist.
A male voice says “The number you have dialled is not in service, please be sure you have the right number in mind and have dialled it correctly. This is a recording”
I called 800-219-7424 just to see if there was a similar message and it went through right away (without any rings) to a different recorded message. A female voice says
“We are sorry. The number you have dialled is not in service
Please check the number and dial again. Message One Hundred, Seventy Six”
So like someone suggested elsewhere, call the 800 number back from a land line or a pay phone many times (atleast as many times as they called you on your cell phones) and they will have their phone bill inflated.
It is called payback for unfair business practices.
my son got a call on his cell today from this number. hes only 15 and doesnt even have a license yet…apparently you call the 1800 number on the caller id it says its not an active number or something like that. they really need to stop. also got this call at work so i called the number they provided and told they they got a business ( cause i thought they had the wrong number ) and they rudely hung up on me.
This isn’t the only number I’ve been contacted from. 706-273-3804

And those aren’t the only ones that have called me. I want this to stop. I can’t handle it anymore. I’ve tried calling all these numbers and none of them answer.. It’s getting to be ridiculous. Someone please tell me how I can get these things to stop calling me.
Yesterday, Jan. 27th, 2009, I too, was asked to renew my auto warranty by an automated message.Although, I am not even old enough to get my lisence. So I Pressed “1″ to speak with an assistant.I assured him I was too young of age to own a vehicle, and to please remove my number. He rudely said, “You do not sound like You’re __” So I replied, “I’m apsolutely positive I’m __” He Continues, ” You’re using some pretty sophisticated words, like positive, for being your age.” So I answer Back, ” Well Too Bad, TAKE MY NUMBER OFF OF THIS LIST!!!” *CLICK*. Nice.
Have you report this to the police or FBI? I think everyone have the same problem as me. I have multiple calls from different number even though I told a few of them to take me off their database. These people are playing dumb by saying that they just answer calls and not responsible for making annoying calls. With so many different phone numbers as listed by Debbie, it will be hard to fight back and trace the call.
I wonder what kind of software or phone systemt they use to block the real number with these fake numbers. I hope the agaency and the call center gets hit by disaster soon.
800-219-7425
Called 1/27/09, I answered the phone, got the now-infamous recorded message, hung up.
Called again 1/30/09, answered, got the /exact same/ message, pressed 1, asked to have my number removed, was hung up on. Except this time it was a new number, one that doesn’t appear on this page anywhere: 800-168-4861. Calling the number gets a fast busy signal. Spoke with my cell carrier, the records they have just give the number with no real identification as to who is making the call. Spoke to a relative who works for another telco who said both 800#s are invalid, not registered, and are thus being spoofed. However, I now have direct correlation between 800-219-7425 and 800-168-4861. Add this to your list, the net expands.
Aaaarrrggghhhhh!!!! I am so fed up with this nonsense! I am going to report these whack-jobs to anyone I can. Not only are they calling my cell phone number, but also home lines and our business lines. The number I keep getting called from is 800-219-7425.
Someone, please, make the insanity STOP!!!!
I’ve got the goods on these car warranty scammers. I have one Tracphone that has a number published on the internet as part of a small business. This is the *only* phone I have that they have found. They obviously took the number from scouring the internet. This phone has only been active a few weeks. It’s brand new.
The Car Warranty scam and a “free credit check” scam are coming from the same people, since both were calling this same cell phone.
I went through their entire sales process and found out the following information:
1) Their hold message says they are, “The Warranty Center”. The customer rep said they are “My Progressive Warranty.” The latter name is true.
2) They re-sell warranties for 5 different warranty companies. One of them is Royal at 51 Mill Street, Hanover, MA
3) My Progressive Warranty (the telemarketing company) is located at 2113 Crescent Drive, Pleasant Hill, CA 9452.

They also made the mistake of not updating their page header on this site, leaving another name up there “Pacific Guard Warranty.” Searching Google for this one gives a bunch of complaints as well as yet another identity:

The numbers that I get leave a 2-3 second blank voice mail on my cell. It’s always a different number. I have answered and pressed the number to be taken off the list, I have also tried to call back the numbers but they don’t work. Here are all the numbers I have been collecting so far. I only recently started collecting them but I have been getting calls for months.

they havent stoped at all.
I used to work for said company and what you all have expressed is true. They are a scam, when I found out about it I stopped coming into work. I just couldn’t do this to people and take your money. I didn’t last long. If you desire not to be called put your number on the “Do not call” list.
For legal reasons I am unaware of how much information I am in fact allowed to give out, but if this goes to court or the Attorney General’s Office needs any further information I would gladly provide names, and other information about the company as needed.
I know being called is frustrating but the only way to make it stop is to shut down the business, sorry guys. That is just how it seems to work anymore.
beware of clicking on a website caller complaints.com it comes right up on google you think you are signing a complaint and then when you push the submit button it turns into the debit reduction site. I got so mad I wanted to break my computer in half.It looks like they also sell the spoof id software to “fool your friends”.

we were just contact by 800 219 7425. I called the company in Missouri and was told they only received pre-screened calls from a third party company. They refused to give me the name of said company so I could ask them to remove my son’s number from their database. I then promised to seek legal action against their company for illegal telemarketing practices if my son received any further calls. Allegedly they are removing his number.
